H.R. 5735 — "To amend the United States Housing Act of 1937 to establish a demonstration program to set aside section 8 housing vouchers for supportive and transitional housing for individuals recovering from opioid use disorders or other substance use disorders, and for other purposes."

POSTPONED PROCEEDINGS - At the conclusion of debate on H.R. 5788, the Chair put the question on passage, and by voice vote, announced that the ayes had prevailed. Mr. Bishop (MI) demanded the yeas and nays and the Chair postponed further proceedings on the question of passage until a time to be announced.

The previous question was ordered pursuant to the rule.

ASSUMING FIRST SPONSORSHIP - Ms. Matsui asked unanimous consent that she may hereafter be considered as the primary sponsor of H.R. 3828, a bill originally introduced by Representative Slaughter, for the purpose of adding cosponsors and requesting reprintings under clause 7 of rule XII.
